madmaxwell Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 Hello, my name is Mad Max and a new member of this site. I'm dropping an Indyhead 360 Magnum crate engine with 450 horse power and a 727 torqueflite. How do I go about making motor mounts and a cross member? I'm wondering if I should also replace the rear and if I should, what Mopar rear would work best? I plan on making this car a total sleeper and my every day driver. Down the line I'll even put in A/C but the drive line and mechanical parts done first, then the body and finally the interior. Any help with this is gratefully appreciated. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) building motor mounts is one of the easiest things to do when dropping an engine into these old cars...but if you are lost at the minute...I would suggest breezing a couple magazines to get an idea of what is involved in the fabrication process....the rest is just getting dirty ..let us know how they turn out...
