BobT-47P15 Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) Happened onto this website that lists the specs of Plymouths from 1946 up to 1975. Might be some info there some new Plymouth owners would find useful. Link to site: http://www.classiccardatabase.com/postwar-models/Plymouth.php And........another interesting site by Allpar............with info on Plym plus the other Chrysler Corp makes of 1946-48. http://www.allpar.com/history/chrysler-years/1945-1948.html Edited January 27, 2014 by BobT-47P15 2 Quote
Young Ed Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Wow pretty harsh words from the allpar site" Although the sales brochures praise their performance and beauty, these cars offered neither, aside from the stunning Town & Country, nor were performance and beauty necessarily what the postwar car buyers most wanted. Deprived of new cars since 1942, buyers wanted comfortable, durable family cars and found them at Chrysler showrooms.Original is at Chrysler Corporation Postwar Models: 1946-1948 (Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto) http://www.allpar.com/history/chrysler-years/1945-1948.html#ixzz2rcimpnZRFollow us: @allparcom on Twitter | allparcom on Facebook " Quote
