A trustee is to handle the business. Here in Europe it is mostly a fraudulent matter. The yellow one is possible a honest car. The third is for me overdubbed (envy?? no). Greetings Klaus Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 as they used a dot and not the comma..a truck for less than 20 Euro is not bad.....lol the other for less than 10 Euro...great prices I am thinking..am sure not everything is even Euro amount...if so they need another money system... GlennCraven Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Yeah, much of Europe and I'd guess about half the world typically uses a period to signify thousands and comma to signify tenths, as "cents" would be in the U.S. Why the world can't set a standard is a head-scratcher for me. Quote
austinsailor Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Yeah, Tim! You were in Germany, same place as me. Surprised you didn't remember that. Too much good German beer? I'm guessing, though, that was a tongue-in-cheek comment, though. It is strange, though, that something like that isn't standard. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 (edited) I do recall places where I have been that the money system was often in three decimal point for monies less than the lowest single unit amount... German monies was not one of them but I sure enjoyed my two years in Bavaria...I had one of the new American silver dollars I carried with me...Eagle landing on the moon...I got almost 7 MK for that single coin..guess the merchant was a collector...all I needed was a bag of a thousand coins and 1000 eager merchants..would have made the stay even nicer..
