Height of door bottom trim on a P15

If anyone has a vinyl or carpet trim strip on the bottom of their P15 doors......below that stainless

strip..........how tall is that piece of trim?     It looks to be about 4 or 5 inches tall.   Am trying to

determine the size in regard to putting some carpet along the bottom of my doors.....as it was

on the original.

My original panels arent in the best of shape but it looked like around 7.75inches. That was the rear seat panel but I believe its the same for the door.

Here's a door on a convert that someone has re-done.   Strip doesn't look real tall.

Bob;  Just went out and measured mine on my P15 SD Sedan; although they are a little "raggady" along the bottom edge, mine measure right at 7 inches to the chrome trim line.   Cass, alias littlemo..
