Chester Brzostowski Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Anyone in Northern Virginia planning on attending. The show is free to presenters as well as the general public. I might bring my 29 Plymouth. Don Coatney Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Good to see you out and about Chet. Have a road trip in the planning stages and will be driving through Front Royal, VA but this will be the first week in September so too early for this show. PS, Had lunch with Nashville Joe yesterday and he is doing well.

Maybe also drag out Rodney & Jim. Hay Greg, Ya! I'm back... Chet... 1
wdoland Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 Hey! I'm the new guy and I'm just north of Front Royal in Stephens City. Let me know if you guy get together, I would like to meet you all. Who knows maybe a show will break out.
Chester Brzostowski Posted August 16, 2013 Author Report Posted August 16, 2013 (edited) Hi Wdoland, Nice to hear from you. We should try to get the local folks in NV together. I don't know if this show would work. I haven't heard from anyone. The Leesburg Air Show isn't a formal car show, no judging, The crowd is mixed not many car people. I'm pretty easy with people especially kids but last year a young kid tried climbing up my passenger side door so he could see inside while his parent watched. I couldn't believe it. As I shot up from my chair the parent caught on. If I wasn't there this guy would have let his son use my car as a climbing wall. Maybe we could get some folks together at a local dinner for a coffee or a burger. Might have To send some PM's. Stay in touch. I am meeting up with Jim Yergin next weekend on the eastern shore. Anyway some place local before the winter would be good. Chet... Edited August 16, 2013 by Chester Brzostowski
wdoland Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 How dare you not let little Johnny climb on your car. The closer you get to D.C. the more intitled people are. I know, we use to live in Alexandria, VA and once in awhile I'd work in D.C. Leesburg is too far for me at this point. I have a long post in the tech section on my fuel pump. Haven't had the car too long so I am not comfortable with dependability yet. Front Royal is doable but watch out for the cops. They will give their mothers a ticket for going 1 mph over speed limit. You can drink and drive there only if your a town resident. My wife got a ticket for speeding off a bridge to get out of the way of a firetruck....no joke! Keep me in mind, I'd love to meet up with fellow car guys.
Chester Brzostowski Posted August 16, 2013 Author Report Posted August 16, 2013 Defiantly will. The fall is a great time to cruise. Maybe I can get some folks to take a Saturday drive out to Front Royal. My cars are on the Delaware shore but I can drive the 48 back to Virginia. The car is running exceptionally well. I am finishing up a restoration I started in 2004. Actually have to wet sand and reprint the car. Thank god the painter is absorbing the cost. Chet...
