Gizzardsniffer Posted June 1, 2013 Report Posted June 1, 2013 Was hoping some one might be able to help,I bought a set of 15x8 and 15x4 Weld Draglites for my truck. They look nice but this is the first time experience with Weld Wheels. The wheels fit fine except the front center caps,They are to shallow to clear the spindles and grease caps. The caps are the old style pop ins with the O rings,I have looked every where I can think of and only find the newer style caps that push in from the back of the wheel. My centers are a bout 1 1/2 inches deep and I'm thinking I need about 1/4 to 1/2 inch more depth to work.Does anyone know if the newer style caps will work or where to find the old style?I was thinking maybe a 1/4 inch wheel spacer might work but would really don't want to go that route if I could find the correct caps.Weld Racing's number is out of service due to storms according to their web site and haven't received an answer from them by email.Any I deas? rt338b12 Posted June 2, 2013 Report Posted June 2, 2013 Are these Weld Racing or just Weld. This company has opened and closed several times in the last 25 years. The question about weld or weld racing is different caps . Old welds had blue centered push in from rear that were very deep. Quote
Gizzardsniffer Posted June 2, 2013 Author Report Posted June 2, 2013 The caps say Weld Racing and the caps are black and pop in from the front. Quote
Gizzardsniffer Posted June 2, 2013 Author Report Posted June 2, 2013 The cap emblems or black, the caps themselves or polished alum. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted June 2, 2013 Report Posted June 2, 2013 a picture could help identify these..question I would like to ask is if the lug nuts must be "shank" style and if so it is the smaller .680 or the larger .740 or there about.. Quote
