The weather in PA finally turned warm enough to begin painting. I painted some of the small parts - grill pieces, gage hoods, door hinges, parking lights, etc. The big shoot, however, was the cab (photo attached). I want to thank HanksB3B for providing a paint chip of his truck (which I like). I took if to my PPG dealer and he was able to find a color that was very close (DCCpost-2952-0-86260300-1369438487_thumb.jpg 47782 ALT). Although I will have more color sanding and compounding than I would like, I am still pleased.

Barry, it looks great & i bet its a good feeling to put some colour on. Like all painting most of the work is in the prep. I have been trying to get to that stage for about 6 months, but work & other priorities keep geeting in the way. That green was the origional colour of my 48, I am not sure yet what final colour i will chose, Every week i change my mind. Keep up the good work!!
