The New Section On Referring Parts For Sale

I just found that new feature a little while ago....when I wanted to pass on some parts

for sale info on the HAMB.  I think it's a good thing.

dealing on the hamb now is about as bad as trying to deal with Craigslist...if you are not a bought and paid member there is no longer any teeth in the transaction..you are on your own....just be careful...

True, Tim.  There, you are simply dealing with an individual with stuff for sale......no guarantees just because

he is a member of the HAMB.   I feel it just gives us one more source of parts some one of us might be

able to use.  Many HAMBers are OK guys.......according to occasional comments there, a few are not. 

 

So, hopefully I am doing a small service by passing on this type info.

in the past a deal made on the hamb was upright and solid..not so today..the bite is out of the bark..the hamb no longer polices bad deals unless you are a top dog paid member...that was all I was pointing out..most are flakier than the craiglsits these days..drop a conversation right in the middle of trying to work or pay for an item..

There are bad apples on the hamb,craigs list and this site. I have delt on all three and only had one guy screw me and that was a p15 member. There are great people on all three of them so just be careful no matter where you deal with someone you can't see.

True Bill...but as I was just trying to point out..they no longer police the deals gone bad...so folks are not held to a higher standard as before and sad to say I have seen the backward slip....you can get hoo-doo'd and wheewalled at every corner..but a one time it was not so on the hamb...these were guys who you could trust from start to finish due to the police action ofthe admins..that is gone..all I am saying..
