Villy Denmark Posted April 6, 2013 Author Report Posted April 6, 2013 Hello guys. I have discovered that a ancor plate follows, when you buy a bendix drive. Therefore am i looking for Auto-lite MCH 6101 starter drive. MCH 6101 is used in 1949-1951 Plymouth or Dodge. But i can not find it on the internet. Can it really be true? Is there anyone who can tell me where i can buy it please. -Villy Quote
Alshere59 Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 Villy I think you have one offered to you already. If that isn't the right one you might try here. http://mopar.pairserver.com/p15d24ph_forum/index.php?/links/goto/41-andy-bernbaum-auto-parts-inc/ Al Quote
Villy Denmark Posted April 6, 2013 Author Report Posted April 6, 2013 Thank you Al. I did not realize that Joe might sell it to me. -Villy Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 Villy, are you interested in the entire Bendix drive? I will photograph it tomorrow morning first thing and post a picture for you. I can also check part numbers if I can find any. I believe I took it out of a 40's-era Mopar and it matches the one in my 49 Plymouth exactly. Quote
Villy Denmark Posted April 7, 2013 Author Report Posted April 7, 2013 Hey Joe. The spring Ancor plate is broken, but also the teeth of bendix drive is worn. I would therefore like to buy the whole bendix drive so I can renovate the starter motor. -Villy Quote
