MBF Posted March 9, 2013 Report Posted March 9, 2013 I would think that a good NAPA dealer could look these up for you. If not, there is Vintage Power Wagons, and I think that Roberts Motor Parts also sells them. Mike Quote
Don Coatney Posted March 9, 2013 Report Posted March 9, 2013 You might want to build a simple test stand and run that engine for a couple hours prior to installing it. Much easier to make any needed repairs on the bench than it is to make the repairs once it is installed. Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted March 9, 2013 Report Posted March 9, 2013 I agree with Don's good advice. I'd get it running for a 1/2 hour or so out of the truck to be sure it's good to go .Check for leaks, noises and compression ect. Don's picture shows what's required. Quote
lugnut123 Posted March 9, 2013 Author Report Posted March 9, 2013 I think that wood be a good idea to run it on the bench. He said it had an oil leak on the top of the oil pump. The prevois owner put a chev with a blower in da truck. I was hopeing to get a napa number so I could buy some parts local. thanks everyone noel Quote
