Plymouthy Adams Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 I have had this problem many times with aftermarket rads..you do your best to select the size and style, hose size and general relationship but on most I have seen the outlet angels are the killer ...I have had three that I have cut the lower stub off and angle proper and re-weld in position...the last one I have been able to run stock fan on the water pump, and it also came factory with electric auxiliary fan that is also stock to the donor setup but with a bit of a twist...one does what one must but I have never found a direct replacement even when the so called books says it is... Dan Babb Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 (edited) Oops....didn't see page 2. Nevermind. Is the radiator out of a 52 1/2 ton a replacement for your truck? I have This one from my truck in my garage. Not looking to retire on a sale, but i could use some money for a power steering conversion on my Cobra. Maybe someone here could confirm if it would work for you. I took it out because I needed more room for the hemi conversion. It didnt leak and cooled the flat6 just fine. texas275 Posted April 16, 2013 Author Report Posted April 16, 2013 I dont know if its a direct swap, but I was looking in that year model too when I was searching for one. A good one is very hard to find. I looked for months before I decided on aftermarket. For me it all came down to money. Quote
