Charles Furman Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I went to my local NAPA parts house and asked the counter guy for a set of shocks for a 1948 Dodge B1B108 truck. I even took the old shocks in with me. You would think I had asked him for a condom for an elephant. He had no idea where to start. Anyone got any part numbers for NAPA or anywhere else? Any other suggestions on where I should try? Thanks, Charles Furman Quote

Merle Coggins Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I agree with Dave. I got mine for Auto Zone too. They even listed them on their online parts catalog. They had the fronts in stock at my local store. The rears they had to order in. They had them in a couple of days. Merle Quote
Jim Shepard Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 Speaking of shocks, I thyink I need to replace mine. I get a little bounce after hitting rough spots. I've been thinking about coil-over shocks. Anyone ever done this? Quote
