tdkibbee Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 (edited) http://www.srpmstreetrods.com/ Might just be my luck, but dealing with this vendor has been painful. I decided to purchase some running boards for my '52 after calling and talking to them. They were very friendly, understood what I needed and provided reasonable shipping charges. They are now over 2 weeks late on actually shipping the items, originally supposed to ship the week of 5/28, then I was told with would be last Friday, still no communication as promised from them. I am now trying to get them to postpone the shipping as I will be leaving for vacation and will not be able to get the item, and now they won't even respond to an email. Just an FYI... Plymouthy Adams Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 I thnk about all of us have had dealing similar, while communications can make or break a deal..production downtime due to equipment failure could be the reason..but if that is the case..communicate that reason please...just knowing you addressing the issue often is all folks want to know.. now I am sure that like myself when Ihave to be from the house I have a couple folks looking after my property and am sure that folks [your trusted neighor(s)] would be very aware of a deliverly truck coming by and could secure your deliverly.. Dan Babb Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 With most credit cards, you only have 30 days from when you get your statement to file a claim. I'd ask for a tracking number and make sure you get the boards within the 30 day window. If they don't provide the information quickly, tell them you're not happy with the transaction and will file a chargeback on your credit card if they don't show proof of delivery. Quote

Roadkingcoupe Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 I think you are dealing with the middleman The running boards are manufactured elsewhere However, if i remember correctly they act as a reseller for the manufacture If that is tru, they have no control over production or shipping time. Just a hunch that is why you are blue in the face!!!!! Quote
