grady hawkins Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 I am rebuilding my carb and need to replace some of the lead plugs. There are not any in the rebuild kit. Dose any one know where I might get them?? Quote
Mark D Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 Try calling these guys... http://www.carbkitsource.com/index.html I haven't dealt with them, but if anyone had them I would think they would. For the record, let us know how you made out. Quote
Tom Skinner Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 Grady, Did you have a NAPA rebuild Kit? I was wondering because the NAPA 2-5066-A Kit for my 1948 Ball and Ball Carter EV1 (I-362) Carburator Kit had them. I think I paid @20 for it. Good Luck finding them that kit has them. Tom Quote
Jerry Roberts Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 I don't know if it is any help but the plugs in my carborator kit were aluminum . Quote
Tom Skinner Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 Jerry, Yes, true, the plugs in the newer NAPA Kits are Aluminum. They are soft like lead and plug in the same way a lead one would. Just bump them into place, they go in easy. Tom Quote
