richardb Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 I am in the heat of a hot rod restoration. I am looking to put some new rims on the vehicle. Has anyone run across a wheel simulator? I would like to load a picture of the truck and then be able to view different rims on the truck. You would think that his would be easy with todays technology but I am unable to find such a website. Has anyone tried this or run across such a site? Quote
mechresto Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 richard I'v used this one, not the best but gives you a pretty good idea.. http://www.mhtwheels.com/wheel_designers.cfm good luck Bryan Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 nice, but am mazed that their selection of vehicles is so narrow..only two Plymouth classics to choose from..pony cars.. Quote
richardb Posted January 23, 2012 Author Report Posted January 23, 2012 I am amazed with all the technology in the world no one has built a site where you can downlaod a picture and sample rims and tires on it. If I sold rims and tires this would be something I would invest in. Just a thought. Quote
mechresto Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 just had one of those "eureka!" moments, Tim, do you have access to photoshop on the 'puter? easy task to put the rims of your choice on the picture of your vehicle. Just tried it and it works damn good! Bryan Quote
