brian hood
I am in the middle of freshing up a 71 5.2. I found a small hole in the skirt. Its not all the way through, but its there. Should I replace this piston? If a get just one single piston, because it a little different, will it make other things out of balance? jeff the jerk
looks like you need new pistons if you change one you should change them all i think a set from summit should be cheep for oem size and a bit more for 30 over but then you would have bore the block
Plymouthy Adams
you can get a used piston if you like and weight it, match it to the others as best possible....I would not go back with a defective piston..could last forever had you not seen it...but as sure as you are born and know it is bad and push on anyway..failure time...
