carmen142 Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 Ok last question for the day. I have 1941 P12 Four Door. I love it. Anyway, I have read that the battery was enclosed in a box. I cant seem to fine a picture of one to see what it looks like. If any of you have one please let me know. Thanks Carmen Quote

Thanks Carmen The battery on your car sits under the hood, on the left (driver's side) tucked under the (fender) catwalk. It sits on the tray and has a rectangular hold down. The last time there was a battery box (under the seat) was 1939/1940. Edited December 22, 2011 by Roadkingcoupe Quote
40phil41 Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 The last time there was a battery box (under the seat) was 1939. Maybe for Plymouth? My 1940 Dodge has the battery box under the driver's side front seat. Phil Quote
carmen142 Posted December 22, 2011 Author Report Posted December 22, 2011 I was worried that the battery needed a box even thou it was under the hood. So all I really need is a hold down clamp. Great and thanks for the info. Carmen Quote
