Rickyoday Posted December 5, 2011 Report Posted December 5, 2011 Hi, I recently purchased a 1950 Dodge Wayfarer, and while it does not fall into the P15-D24 years, I was hoping you knowledgeable members could help me with questions when they arise. Anyway, the Wayfarer has the radio delete plate, and I'd like to install the correct AM radio for my model. Can anyone tell me the Mopar model # for this car? The pics I've seen of the Mopar 803 look like the radio for my car....any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Rick Quote
JohnTeee Posted December 5, 2011 Report Posted December 5, 2011 Hi Rick, Welcome to the forum. I'll bet somebody jumps in with the correct answer anytime. The MOPAR 802 was correct for '46-early/mid '49, so an 803 sounds about right, to my uneducated mind. Cheers! John Quote
aero3113 Posted December 5, 2011 Report Posted December 5, 2011 I have a 604 in my 50 Plymouth Special Deluxe Club coupe. Quote
Rickyoday Posted December 6, 2011 Author Report Posted December 6, 2011 Thanks for the info guys! Now I'll have to slug it out on ebay to get one. Thanks again, Rick Quote
Young Ed Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 If you can find one you want the models that start with 8. Fancier radios. Should be an 804 since he has a 604. I wouldn't pay more than 20-25 for a core. Quote
