Chester Brzostowski Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 DIDN’T FIX A BLESSED THING. Just backed the car out of the driveway and took the wife out to run some errands. Oh, ya filled up with gas. I still have lots to do to finish up but I knew once the front seat was in the work would slow down considerably. Chet… Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Atta boy, Chet. Just enjoy for a while - after all the time you spent fixing it. Quote
1940plymouth Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Chet that is one fine looking car, isn't it nice to be able to drive it and take your wife along, It is such a great feeling of satisfaction being able to get behind the wheel and just go Quote
Robert Horne Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Since our little town ended this years Saturday cruise-ins for this year, my wife and I make Sunday afternoons our "ride the backroads" way to enjoy our little Plymouth. It feels real nice to just get in the Plymouth at any time, stop to fill the tank, and enjoy the ride. We will cruise as long as the weather is nice, and then the Plymouth will go in the shop, up on jack stands, and back to repairs, and improvements. Quote

Hi Robert, I was checking your location and you are right along my pathway for a trip to visit Don C. in Nashville. Who knows maybe I might see you sometime next year if you are around when I am passing through. Bob & Bob T, Ya baby.., it’s great to just get in and drive. Maybe I will get to see the USA in my 48 Plymouth. It’s a plan anyway. And if things don’t work out I can always tow it home with my Chevrolet. Chet… Quote

I am about 3 miles off Interstate 81. If you have any problems along the way, give me a call, or a pm. I have a tow dolly that I keep handy so if my Plymouth has a problem. I bought a good tow bar also that I plan on keeping in my Plymouth. I hope I have my Plymouth in better shape next year to travel in. Right now I am limited to about 40 to 45 MPH cruising speed. The trans/gearing is low. Quote
Chester Brzostowski Posted November 22, 2011 Author Report Posted November 22, 2011 Sounds good Robert, let's see what next year brings. Chet… Quote

greg g Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 So Chet how many miles have you put on since the roscoe trip. Quote
Chester Brzostowski Posted November 22, 2011 Author Report Posted November 22, 2011 Greg, This was the first time I took her out since the Roscoe trip. My daughter was out in Delaware the weekend before so I haven’t seen the car since Roscoe. Put another 60 miles on it. I have to find a garage for this summer so that I can cruise around the Virginia area. Or maybe just spend the hot portion of the summer working on the car and in the fall just drive around. Well see. Chet… Quote
