Rumblin Rolf
Is there any difference in size/fastening between the valve cover plates of the Plymouth/Dodge flat six and the Chrysler/DeSoto flat six? Questioning because the different lengths of the engines.
RobertKB
Valve cover plates are longer on the longer engine. I have a set of valve cover gaskets for the short engine and they are no where long enough for my long blocks. I got the gaskets in a box of parts I bought so if anyone is interested, they are going cheap. They are Felpro.
JohnTeee
Robert, I just bought a set to put on with my recent explorations, but would not mind having a spare set. I see more engine work in my future! <grin> Cheers! John

RobertKB
Don, your pictures are always a wealth of information. You seem to have a picture to answer most questions. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. What don't you have a picture of??

Rumblin Rolf
Thanx for the info, Don. I found an add for finned alu-covers said to fit all Mopar Flat Six'es. Can't obviously be right then.
