Pilot house trans and bellhousing

Hi, i have what i believe is a 52 Pilot house trans, bellhousing, clutch, converter. It is pretty much complete from the motor to the driveline coupler. i have no use for it and was wondering if someone here could use it before i take it down for scrap. Let me know, Mike

I assume you are refering to a Fluid Drive trans and housing? What trans? 3 speed or 4 speed? I'm on the lookout for a syncro 4 speed for use behind a Fluid Drive.

Good question, never checked if it was 3 or 4 spd, the guy i got the truck from had already pulled it and just got the trans the other day. Let me check it out.

A quick identifier is if there's a shift lever coming out of the top. 3 speeds from that series truck would have been column shift, but all 4 speeds are floor shift.

Yep has the shifter arm coming out of the top and over the side.

Yes 3 spd, oh well off to the scrap yard Monday, that baby has some weight!!
