Jim Shepard Posted August 22, 2011 Author Report Posted August 22, 2011 Isn't petaluma where they filmed American Graffiti? While the movie depicted Modesto, it wasn't filmed there. Petaluma might be the place. Quote
48SpecialDeluxe Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 Sorry to be off topic, but did you fabricate those engine mount extensions running from the frame to the mounts or purchase them? I've been looking to put a larger engine in my Plymouth and I'm doing research into others' build ideas to find the best method. Thanks! Quote
Reg Evans Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 While the movie depicted Modesto, it wasn't filmed there. Petaluma might be the place. You guys were right. Most of the filming was done in Petaluma. Quote
Don Coatney Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 Back to the topic I suggest you talk to Tim Adams before buying a hot rod that is not proven. Even the best inspection may miss critical things. Why is this guy selling this car when it appears to be close to completion? There may be some killer snags not known nor disclosed. Buyer beware! james curl Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 I tell you that if I had the money that car would be on a trailer headed back to Texas. I like 4 doors and that is about the best looking 4 door that I have seen in a while. I would just get it running and reliable and some kind of interior and just drive the snot out of it. I could cruise over to the east and visit a bunch of forum folks then go west to meet more. To say that I like it is an understatement. Quote
