Andydodge Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 Well, the 1941 Plymouth Lower Radiator Dust Shield arrived today....YES!!!......I am a happy camper, its exactly as described, lovely NOS sheetmetal, tho' the cardboard tag wired onto it has a Chrysler part number/date of 1964 printed on the bottom of the cardboard........I was hoping for a nice 1941 piece of cardboard.......lol........so I can live with that....lol........now have any of you guys with 1941 Plymouths ever had to instal one of these things???..........lol........this looks like its gunna be fun.......appears that it must really have been installed before the outer grille sheetmetal was installed.........lol........this IS gunna be fun.......many thanks to all those guys on the forum who offered assistance when I 1st asked about getting it here before the seller agreed to internatuional shipping............regards.......andyd Quote

rockable Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 I do believe you have to remove the outer grill portions to do it, Andy. Good luck! Quote
Andydodge Posted July 8, 2011 Author Report Posted July 8, 2011 Rock, yep thats what I am afraid of....... at the very least the bumper & irons then with it jacked up I might be able to insert it from below, but getting access to the bolt holes at either end might also be a problem............then of course theres the single bolt at the front that holds it all to the grille sheetmetal.............lol...........fun,fun,fun..........lol...........andyd Quote
