Suddensix Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 Hi fellow Moparites. After a couple of false starts here I am. I have been visiting this forum for a while now and have been very impressed with the quality and quantity of the posts so finally decided to sign up. I'm a retired grey beard with a wife, children, lovely little grandaughter and a 49 Plymouth Club Coupe. The wife, kids and grandaughter are all stock, the Plymouth is modified. Warmed up 218 with dual carbs, headers, dual exhaust, O.D. transmission and a soon to be installed Edgy aluminum head. The car has dropped spindles, disc brakes Coker wide whites and a custom interior. I bought the car on ebay about three years ago and enjoy it immensley. I will post photos when I figure out how to do it. My first question is can anyone tell me if George Asche vends a the Dunkirk N.Y. swap meet? Glad to be part of the group. Suddensix Quote
greg g Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 I met George two years ago at the Dunkirk meet. He usually attends, I believe he missed last year due to a health issue. Usually one or both of his sons go, so they may be there even if he is not. His number is listed on the vendors/suppliers list on the forums host page, if you have 40 minutes of so give him a call regarding his plans. Welcome to the community. Don;t forget to visit the folks on the other side of the street at the Dodge Pilot house forum. Them truck guys have some of the same issues we have, and are worth visiting from time to time. Quote
D25_Steve Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 Hi Suddensix, I'm also in Toronto[steeles] (but not for long, I hope to be out west within 3 months). Do you have any pictures of your car online? Is your Car Canadian or American? I'm assuming American because of the Edgy head? Quote
