I have finallly moved to brakes. Darn brake spring broke. Does anyone know of a good substitute? Does anyone have pictures of an orginal one?(never know if the one that was on there was orginal.) This is for a desoto.

I don't have a 49 parts book of any kind nor any DeSoto parts book but I see in the 1936-48 Plymouth that there are several different spring numbers. Most of the pre-War used one number but there were some variations (7 passenger sedan, P1 and P2 used different). And the P15 is listed with yet different numbers and is unique in the listing as showing different numbers for the front versus the rear. So when I look at the Roberts' listing and see that is says "most 28-56" I have to wonder if that would be correct for any specific car.
