Billy Austin Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 Deacon lunchbox stopped by the shop today in his usual self induced stuper.I had just started work on my gas tank when he ask about lunch . So I told him to think of a clever way get the crap out of the tank while I made us some lunch. This is what he did in seven minutes. However this does give a opportunity to see the bronze filter and the missing ferrule. Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 So, will you be re-using that tank? Quote
Oldguy48 Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 A few zaps with a MIG welder should have that puppy as good as new. Quote
rustyzman Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 (edited) Think of how easy it is to fill now! Heck, you don't even need a fuel gauge! Just no fast turns or braking. Or smoking in the truck. Edited March 8, 2011 by rustyzman Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 I would like to meet this Deacon Lunchbox who shows up in a stupor around lunchtime, asking what's for lunch. Quote
falconvan Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 I guess we call that a gas pan rather than a tank. Quote

Joe Flanagan Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 No doubt. Sounds like a character from a novel. Are you going to tell us more, Billy Austin? Quote
