Paul Beard Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 I am looking for the two metal arms that connect between the wiper motor and the piece that actualy move the wipers arm & blade. The pieces I need are form a vacuum wiper as they are longer than electric. Quote
grey beard Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Hey Paul, good to hear fom you again. How ya duin? I have extra wiper parts but mine are all electric. Sorry bout eat . . . Good Luck Quote
townwagon Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 What year is your truck? I think I have both styles, but I need to know which kind to dig out. Do you have any electric ones to trade? I need a set of the 51-53 electric arms. Eric Quote
Bob_Koch Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Word I got was that wiper arms for electric and vacuum on 51 - 53 are the same length. Earler years are different . Am I correct on that? Quote
townwagon Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 The vacuum arms and electric arms are radically different for both the 48-50 and 51-53 trucks. Neither one would interchange without a lot of work, not even sure it would be worth trying. Eric Quote
Reg Evans Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 I have these two sets. I don't know which type they are for or even what years they are for. The shorter pair has the numbers 82433 and 226 on them and the longer pair only has the number 11 on the short arm just below the wiper bezel. Quote
townwagon Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Reg, The upper are 51-53 electric, and I am interested in them if you want to sell. The lower are 48-50 vacuum. Eric Quote
Dave72dt Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Time to grab the tape measure, notebook and some wire tie tags for future reference, maybe even a plain paper photo printout for the notebook. Quote
townwagon Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Paul, Here are the 1951-53 vacuum wiper arms you are looking for. I included the shorter 1951-53 electric arm at the bottom of the picture for reference. Contact me at townwagon(remove this)@yahoo.com Just remove the (remove this) anti spam text. Thanks, Eric Quote
