Young Ed Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 I didn't know your car was so far away. Thanks anyways. Tom Only in the winter. My project 40 plymouth pickup is up there too. Soon as it warms up the 48 will come home Quote
P-12 Tommy Posted January 28, 2011 Author Report Posted January 28, 2011 Hey guys, I managed to find in my parts book a #910678 which is a 1941 glove box spring. Len Dawson had one and I bought it. I got it and still can't figure out where it goes. I know it's getting boring. Maybe somebody's seen this spring before? If somebody has please let me know. Thanks, Tom Quote
1940plymouth Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 Tom, Check the photos that Shel-bizzy posted around the end of Dec, if you haven't, they might help Good luck, Bob Quote
P-12 Tommy Posted January 28, 2011 Author Report Posted January 28, 2011 A picture of the spring isn't in there. But it has the same number I came up with in my parts book. When I got the spring I went out and spent some time trying to figure it out. Tom Quote

P-12 Tommy Posted January 28, 2011 Author Report Posted January 28, 2011 Right hand photo is missing. Quote
1940plymouth Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 Tom Sorry about that, the photo I wanted to repost is the one that shows, I hope that photo can help you Quote
P-12 Tommy Posted January 29, 2011 Author Report Posted January 29, 2011 P-12 Tommy spring is much different than the one in my pic. His would have to mount some way on the hinge to aid in opening the door.I'm not really sure what function the spring in my pic provides:confused: Good question. Quote
1940plymouth Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 If you can, contact Lindsay McConnell, he knows his '41 Plymouths, he mostly likely can help you I don't know if he visits this site, but I do know he frequents the POC forum Quote
