hotrodbob Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 I'll let ya know. Let us know how they work.I'm thinking about replacing my hood springs, since my hood 'sags' a few inches when open (and I'm constantly knockin' my noggin on the hood latch!). If new springs would get me a couple more inches of clearance I'll consider 'springing' for them...! Quote
dezeldoc Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 LOL, I remember. I use to live near 10th and "I" and worked at LACR for 20 years... cool, i sure miss the track, that was a messed up deal with granite, they should have donated the track to the city and they would have would looked like a hero instead of a bunch of money mongers! of course frank lane could have stepped in but all he saw was the royalty checks each month. we paid a base royalty to lane each month plus what went over the scales, i have seen checks go out on months that we only sold about 2000 tons and they were 45,000.00 a month! i can only imagine what granite was paying. 47heaven Posted December 3, 2010 Author Report Posted December 3, 2010 I was wondering why Darren was ignoring my suggestion, there is variable ways of doing this task, employing a chain and some leverage( 2X4 piece of wood) or hydraulic tools.....Fred No, Fred...not ignoring it, but don't have time to work on the car until the weekend. I definately will try out the leverage thing this Saturday and see if I can get these boogers on once and for all. Quote
