55 Fargo Posted January 14, 2011 Author Report Posted January 14, 2011 The one I have is marked "R" with quite a large letter. I generally have a firm grasp of the obvious, so that looks like its specific to the right side. They are made so that once assembled, there is a slot to allow for the angle of that support piece if you mount the visor at a low angle, and that slot is what makes it particular to left or right. BUT - these may be hard to find, and if you think you may still be able to use the "wrong side", your still welcome to it. I only have the two paired screws for this piece. Okay, the part arrived from Dan yesterday, I had to tweak it to work on the left side, being a right side bracket hold down. Here are 3 pics of it installed, not perfect, but very okay...Thank you Dan for helping me with this.....Fred Quote
1940plymouth Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 Looks good Fred, there is something about the outside sunvisors that just add to the looks of the Old MOPARS:) Quote

Cpt.Fred Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 fred, your car is a real beauty, i'm always happy to see new ones and i keep saving them to my hard disc - along with many others from this board. sun visors and spotlights are great! Quote
Uncle-Pekka Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 Nice story how Fred got his visor installed. I did not noticed this thread in Nov. when it begun, but read it though today. Fred you have a stunning beautiful coupe. All time favorite styling (of mine). Congratulations! One thing that made me think: How high the Fulton visor prices have just recently risen. @ eBay they ask $100...300 for poor beaten twisted junks and $300...500 for good ones! Even home made brackets are $49! I bought mine 2006 for $150, it is good condition, no dings. All parts and functional. Back then you could get a poor one at $50 even at eBay. By the way, in case some one needs the center bracket: This guy seems to offer the correct design, die pressed, less than the other fellow above asked for home made substitues: http://cgi.ebay.ca/FULTON-SUNVISOR-WINDSHIELD-PINCH-CLAMPS-BARREL-BOLTS-/120671637347?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c18970f63#ht_500wt_950 (Still $45 for center bracket only is high, if u ask me...) BobT-47P15 Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 Yep, Fred, the visor looks good and matches well. You just have to be resourceful sometimes about things like the clamps. Quote
