differential width

Does anyone know right off hand if a 1942 ply. and a 1953 ply are the same width? The 53 is a couple hundred miles away, and before I drive over and measure it I thought I would see if anyone allready knew. Thanks

53 is approx 1 11/16 more narrow but this is based on rear track data
