Crew cab

My question is would a mid 80s dodge 10 passenger van chasis be a suitable frame for a 49 crew cab conversion?

I bought one a few years back and it had a uni-body construction. I was going to use it for the front clip under my 50 but have since decided to go back original. So I would probably make sure it has a full frame and not just the front clip.

Would that frame be really any longer anyway? Maybe a frame from a 1ton chassis with the 9ft box would work better, I imagine with a original "short box" or a modified one it would work great and be more "original"

you might measure out an early dodge dakota club cab/long box. It might just fit the bill.

There's a bit of a trick answer ion thatone. No for us in the US but our friends Down Under have some pics of interesting rides they had available to them. I do not have the pics and am working from a droid so searching is a bit of a pain ... especially at work
