1948 P15 in August Rod & Custom Mag

Just got the August Rod & Custom magazine today, apologies if this has been mentioned before but the magazine arrives here in Oz about a month after the US, anyway theres a very nice Dark Blue 1948 P15 Plymouth Coupe, 4-5 page article, car runs a Red Ram Hemi & 5 speed.........some very nice pics, would scan but left the mag at work.........lol..............andyd

Looks like the owner did a real nice job on that coupe.

It resembles the 47 club coupe I owned back in the 70s.....midnite blue

Yeh, its a real nice car, have been buying R&C for nearly 40 yrs on & off, they've had the odd mopar but was really impressed with this one, as whilst its not the same as mine, (1941) there were enough things I could relate to, ie, tyres same as mine, T5 gearbox(haven't installed mine yet) and the obvious one being the same body shell........just a real nice car.........andyd

And the interesting thing is that the guy that owns/built it is the guy that does the 33/34 ford repro steel coupes and has quite a bit of street cred as far as "hot rods" go, so its great to see someone other than us poor misguided souls building something different.........and doing it well enough to rate an article in R&C.........again, nice car.............andyd

andy i thought i sent you a few before ??? we were talking about the finned valve covers u have on ur poly,,,,,and u were going to get the name of the maker ,.,,,but i didnt get a reply,,,lol

also went to the magazine stand,,and heck they have october rod and custom opn the stand,,, so ill have to call for a back copy of august,,, that 47 ply looks like my 40 dodge same motor,,,,kool
