I have been to two Goodguys events...first was okay and as such I did not have any complaints..the second..most horrible experience ever..but I will give them credit to refund my money on my critique..the show was a first for that area and even they called it a bust.

I attend the Goodguys show near Loveland CO pretty much every year as a spectator. I find the entrance fee to be a bit much at $18 myself although I pay it and whine only for a little while afterwards and then find myself going back again the next year. I think the event has upwards of 2000 cars ... at least that's what they advertise ... I didn't count. They do have a bunch. Quality is good and the weather is generally good too. Most of the cars are street rods with some lead-sleds and other pre-1972 iron including some very nice trucks. Beer is WAY expensive and even the water costs $3.00 a bottle. There are only a handful of 30 - 50's Mopars. I did find one P18 Sedan this year and spent quite a bit of time talking to the son-in-law of the owner. I also found several rodded P15's and quite a few '33 and '34's (Plymouth) mostly steel bodied but more plastic showing up. The swap meet is ok but nothing great usually. I have found a few small Mopar parts and I think I bought an 803 Mopar radio one year. There are enough positives that I at least spend a little time there every year. I made a decent contact with a GM High Performance guy this year that will help me out on my '76 K5 ... so all is not lost even if our old Mopars are not well represented.
