Guest Kuster13 Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 Come on guys, time for progress reports. I have actually started applying paint. Just the cab, nose and some odds and ends to do. Haven't started the box yet. Hope to start assembly by the end of June. Might even get the brakes done soon. Tom Quote
HanksB3B Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 What do you mean by "get the brakes done". I have a reason for asking. Thanks, Hank Quote
Guest Kuster13 Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 For the brakes I have to run the hard lines and add fluid. Everything else is done. Tom Quote
oldmopar Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 I did get a lot done this winter replaced complete brake system, new seals and bearings, new steering gear (drag link and tire rods) need to clean the bed and body up a little to get it past the insurance co. and get plates Quote
Dave72dt Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 I cut the old IFS clip out from under the truck, replaced with new frame sections, M II style suspension, 11" rotors, straightened and reshaped my hood panels, got 90% of the panel alignment done, installed bear claw latches in the door, repaired a rear fender, started fitting headlights into frenched housings. Put one side of the bed and front bed panel along with rear fender and drug it out into the light for the first time in a year. Gave me a much needed boost. granddaughter said it looked cool. Quote
