M. Cross Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 What do I ask for when I send a set of front/rear brake shoes in for rebuild for my 1950 P20? I have a set of each that need redone, but want to know what I should tell them to do. Regards! Mark Quote

bach4660 Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 hope it is the same for P20's I had my B2D relined the size was11"x2" but the important number was FMSI=98. (don't know what it means but when I said that the brake guyseemed quite happy) Quote
Don Coatney Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Mark; Call these folks. They can help you with same day service if you drive to Smashville. Quote
M. Cross Posted March 26, 2007 Author Report Posted March 26, 2007 Thanks Don. I had a copy of that card, but can't find it, so that's what I needed. As I recall, the front brake shoes are 10" x 2", and the back a bit larger, so I guess I'll have to pull the front and have a nice afternoon trip to Nashville sometime in the near future. Don, are they anywhere near the Florida Seafood House on Nolensville Road? I could kill two birds with one stone. (rins) Regards! Mark Quote
Don Coatney Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 Mark; Not sure where the Florida Seafood House is located.. The clutch place is located near the fairgrounds. I drive past there everyday when I work in Smashville. Quote
M. Cross Posted March 27, 2007 Author Report Posted March 27, 2007 It's on the otherside of the railroad overpass heading away from Nashville. GREAT seafood, if you've never stopped there. Very good. I know right where to go look. Thanks, Don! Regards! Mark Quote
