Troganin Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Last weekend I was in Bennington, VT for a job interview. I was cruising around the town seeing the sights when at the end of the street was an old style gas station all lit up. It would have been a great photo op if I was driving the plymster. As I drove by slowly I noticed "Hemmings Motor News" on the front. I was unaware at the time that their headquarters is located in Bennington. Now I really have to get the old girl working for a road trip. Quote
bearheart Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 You're leaving the city of good neighbors?? (but not so good career prospects!). Good luck whatever direction you go. Quote
Troganin Posted April 19, 2010 Author Report Posted April 19, 2010 Thanks for the luck. Hopefully I move from the city of good neighbors to the city of sweet barn finds. Then I can move up in car too; well just get the one I have a buddy. Cant have just one. Some of us know this personally. Quote
JerseyHarold Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 I lived in Buffalo for a few years in the seventies. It's really a nice place and if it weren't for the winters we'd be there now. Quote
Troganin Posted May 12, 2010 Author Report Posted May 12, 2010 A little update on the job search if your interested. The Bennington job fell through. Although I had another on the hook in Syracuse and will be taking that job. If anyone has any good leads on apartments, good areas to live, or a place to store my car it would be appreciated. Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Maybe you should have stopped in at Hemmings. Never know when they might be needing a good car guy for a job. Quote
