Fernando Mendes Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 Hank, oil(liquid) is more imcompressibleGas(not liquid) is more compressible. Is this the why!!!!! Quote
Merle Coggins Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 As far as I know, pretty much all modern shocks are gas charged. The gas is used to pressurize the shock reservoir to keep the oil from foaming and make them work more consistant. There are different types of gas used, but it would be an inert gas like nitrogen, argon, or helium. The gas pressure also makes the shocks so that it takes some weight to compress them, but that's just a side effect. It doesn't really add to the load capacity. Merle Quote
Fernando Mendes Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 Ok guys,I measured now and see the rear shock angle of 55º with the vertical plan in mine B3-B. Quote
