1940plymouth Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 My son and I drove up to Norwich, NY yesterday to go thru the museum, here are some photos I hope you all enjoy. The DeSoto was a '59, the Franklin was a '30 and the O-WE-GO was the one featured in the latest issue of "Classic Car" I would suggest that if anyone is in the area of Central NY to visit, they should take the time fo visit this museum. Lots of great cars, Mostly Franklins, but a good amount of other makes also Quote
greg g Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 been to and through Norwich many times, it about 40 miles, and have never been to the Museum. Hey Bob, you ever go to the Memorial da weekenf show and swap at the Norwich Fairgrounds?? Quote
1940plymouth Posted March 7, 2010 Author Report Posted March 7, 2010 Greg, Yes, but since we live down here, I don't take the Plymouth. We usually drive up on Sunday, go thru the swap meet, which gets smaller each year, go look at the cars, then head back down here. I did take the Plymouth there when we lived in Earlville in '91. Rained the whole trip down, while we were there, and on the way home. I would suggest that you take the time to visit the museum when you get a chance Quote
greg g Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 Gotta work on you about getting your car out of Sullivan county once in a while. I plan on pulling mine out of the garage tomorrow as I need to do a bit of exhaust repair on my wife's car. Been pretty sunny here last couple of days, roads are dry but still covered with salt dust. Need a couple of good rains to wash it away before I do any road trips. Quote
Manuel in Oz Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 A friend took me thru last year. What a great place. Well worth a visit. Manuel in Oz Quote
