pin stripes

I am want to put pinstrips on the grill of my 1952 B3B and I was wondering how wide they should be. I was going to use a tan color tape which comes in 1/4" or 1/8". Would the 1/8 inch be the correct width to use?

I used 1/8" cause it was the closest to the original thickness.
