41/53dodges
i have been asked for pics regarding replacement of a stock 1/2 ton rear end with a 96' jeep cherokee rear. they needed old mounts chopped off and new ones welded on in place. they were replaced with trailer saddles from northern tool for the leaf springs, so they original shock brackets and u-bolts still fit. old rat 49
Are you attaching that to a stock drive shaft ? If so how and how is the overall width working and with what rims and tires? Going after rear end in a week or so and trying to find the best for my p15. Heard there is a Spicer kit of some sorts for this but can't find any info. 41/53dodges
it used the exact same u-joint, same length, same everything on the driveshaft part. i think overall it is about 1.75" narrower, im still using my stock rims on the truck. Reg Evans
You can use spacers to bring the wheels back out where they were originally or even thicker ones to get a wider track than original. That's what I did with my Ford 3.0 rearend.
41/53dodges
would need some different studs to go with that.
