Ok, so I got real motivated this morning , a little cold however not brutal. I went down to the garage and put the new hose on the Stude. I thought maybe the changing of the hose was a waste of time:eek: Oh boy was It finished. Thanks to all that suggested it be changed, it was ready to blow for sure.

I got it all removed and installled and thought maybe I should clean those plugs, Yes they were all soot filled(fuel pump problem) clean the plugs and carb(seaform) now she runs like new money.

I even played with the plymouth for awhile. I can't wait for the good warm weather to come back:D

See now Rodney, that wasn't so bad, today I went out and pulled Stop Lamp, did some interior work, only 36 in the garage, did not heat up the building, it is a -10 outside.

Glad she is running good again, hope all is well with you.........Fred

Coil mount. This is the first time I've seen a coil mounted 'bullet' style. Is that a short coil, does it go through the firewall, is that a mopar setup?

The original coil in a 1940 goes though the firewall. I use to go to the swap meets and get these coils and the following summer I would be standing on the side of the road. I got smart, I started buying my coils new then mount them on the fire wall and run the wires out to the dist. To my knowlege they don't make the coils with the wire coming out the bottom new so I buy these. They never leave me on the side of the road.
