hoi, I am a bit confused as to how to measure the engine block. Is it measured on the head from one end (firewal) to the waterpump? When one speaks about a 25'' block it is in my measurement 25, + inches?

mybe someone can give me a picture..:D

Is it measured on the head from one end (firewal) to the waterpump? Yes

USA heads are usually 23" and Canadian are usually 25"

25 inches = 63.5 centimeters

23 inches = 58.42 centimeters

It`s the length of the head. (23" or 25")

Not including the water pump.

Unless of course its one of the large (331" or bigger) truck engines, which I think are about 30".
