Hey guys, Anybody out there happen to have a left rear door glass for a P-12 four door? Mine broke when I shut the door this morning. Can '46-'48 windows fit a '41 Plymouth? I hope someone can help me on this one. BTW.... when did Chrysler start putting safety glass in?

Thanks, Tom

when you say broke, did it shatter into a million small pieces like modern car glass..if so then that is tempered and odds are stock will not match the rest of your glass in clarity..this would suggest a replacement glass along the way...if it just cracked and held by middle laminate..then you be ole style..any glass shop should be able to cut this...

either way..Vintage Glass, see them online for a possible shop near you, can meet you needs with either way..

as for the fit..I don't have one to compare...sorry..

No, it didn't shatter into a million small pieces. It's not safety glass. Luckily the laminate is holding it together. I was doing a final adjustment on the striker. Shut it too hard with the window down. I would rather get an original glass, but I'll check the local shops and Vintage Glass. Thanks Tim
