Frank Blackstone Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 I pulled the leaking rear main seal that has a rubber National 6405 number and now can not find an exact replacement. The configuration of the engine dictates that a rubber seal be used.I could not find a part number in the old Forum list. The parts houses do not have a direct Fel-Pro ,or any another brand ,substitute for tha National number. Is there a different size seal for the 218 and 230 size engines? Anyone have any replacement numbers that are available.? Quote
