I have a Carter M6D1 carburetor on my 53 Windsor. The car has a Prestomatic Transmission (M6). On the carb is an anti stall solenoid on the top, and a kickdown switch by the linkage. I found a wiring diagram for it already so I know where the wires go, but I need somebody to show me a picture of the kickdown switch attachment. It looks like a hole with a fancy paper clip wrapped around it so where does the wire go? Is there something missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

In the first picture you can see me point at the front side of the kickdown switch, the second picture is of the back side of the switch and a close-up.

I know which wire goes to the carb kickdown switch I just dont understand how it connects. There are no electrical connections. It just looks like a tube with a paper clip wrapped around it like in the picture. Is there a piece missing or does the wire go down into the tube somehow?
