p24-1953 Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 the manual state 3/16, but is that a min thickness, or is that the thickness of new pads? what is the min thickness? my pad are 1/8" thick is that to little? could that be a factor in my low pedal? Quote
greg g Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 are you speaking of the thickness of the friction material on your brake shoes? If not adjusted for the wear, that may be a contributor to a low pedal. 1/8 while being worn is not in the worn out area yet. mayby you can get another 8 or 10 K before they would be in the replace catagory. However the thinner they are, the less resistant they are to fade from prologed use. Quote
