If they fit your wheel opening that's a good deal. Repops like mine were up to $195 plus shipping about a year ago. You got those for about what I paid several years ago for my repops.

I'm hoping they'll fit either the 48 or the 51. I tried and tried to look up that part # but couldn't find it. They do look right in the picture.

I have a parts manual too but I don't think it shows skirts in there. I think you need an accessory parts book for that and I don't have one of those. I'll take a look at the P15 parts book again, but don't think it list skirts. Those skirts do look right for fitting inside the wheelwell. Chrysler, Dodge and DeSoto fenders are larger than the P15. However, the wheelwell may be the same opening, so it's very possible those will fit. Either way, if they don't you can't get hurt on them for the price. They are worth more than what you paid, so you should be able to easily get your money back by reselling them, if they don't fit one of your cars.

Neither the p15 or p20 or p23 book shows part numbers for these. Some of the other accesories are listed like heaters radio etc. The more common ones I guess. Dad even has this giant parts book that covers all 49-54 mopars. It wasn't in the accesory section of that one either!

These will not fit the 48-they might with some modifications-- they are made for 49-50 dodge and chrysler--

Like I mentioned, my skirts are repops and they are the FoxCraft style that fit over the fender opening, so they are longer. Mine are 33 inches long x about 13 1/4 inches high at the front of the skirt bottom to top. Based on that, your skirts should be close to the right size. Still worth more than what you paid either way.

I'm not too worried. I think they'll fit one or the other. I know the wheel openings are the same 49-52 for plymouths. Hopefully dodge is the same too. The box does say just dodge desoto chrysler but there is also a piece missing right where it may have said plymouth

If you find out they wont fit your plymouth...I have a 49 Dodge they would look good on...John Burke

I think there is a little accessories book available, and I think Mr. Seaplym (Neil Riddle) has some of them available. He puts one on auction from time to time. If you emailed direct to him, he might quote a price to just sell you one.....maybe. I know skirts are not listed in the parts book.

I didn't know they made fender "shirts" as the seller had it mis-spelled.

I do know you can get a "bra" for the front.

And a "muffler".

I think a fender shirt is the old tshirt you throw on the fender to protect the paint....

These look like the exact same ones I have on my 49 Plymouth Club Coupe. See my profile for photo. And the size is the same. However, I have a set that looks exactly like those but the dimensions are just enough different that they don't fit my 49 at all. If you find they don't fit I'd be interested as well.
