it is the step cam lever on the throttle shaft that the choke linkage should connect to...about two weeks or so if not less there were pictures posted on her showing that piece and the connection of the rod itself...

i'll betcha a nickel the adj rod isnt snapping the throttle valves all the way back. try a tougher spring or turn it out a turn to lengthen it .

also....once on my 41 the accelerator rod was rubbing on fire wall..causing slow return..
