wide whites on a one ton truck

I saw this on e-bay. Nice truck but the wide whitewalls- I just can't get with it. When I was little the only vehicles I ever saw with wide whites were Caddies , Lincolns, Buicks, etc.. Item # 380157222546

The trucks with wide whites are apparently worth much more than the ones without.

Look what this 52 1/2 ton was bid up to. A classic case of never getting the $ back that you put into a restoration of a fairly common vehicle. It is a beauty though.
